Lamorinda schools are among the finest in the State.  All of the Elementary, Middle and High Schools are known for providing a caring and enriching environment for students, and for consistent parent and community participation.  The schools have outstanding academic achievements such as National Blue Ribbon School and California Distinguished School.  The accolades bounce around our schools depending on the year.  We joke that if you want to know the best Lamorinda school just ask the parents of each school.  They all love their schools and say they are the best!

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center is a visionary construct of education, collaboration and community.  Home of the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium, it is a place where all generations can gather for enriched intellectual and cultural experiences.  The consortium is a partnership of 12 Bay Area premier education, science and arts institutions who offer a calendar of programs and special events.
